About the Artist

Allison Corbin is a native of Martinsburg, W.Va., and graduated with honors from Shepherd University as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Her artistic interests include illustration, web design, digital photography, and logo design.

An accomplishment she is most proud of is being fortunate enough to present some of her artwork to musician “Weird Al” Yankovic and his bandmates on several occasions over the years. She began attending Yankovic's concerts in 1997, and to date she has seen him two dozen times.

Upon graduating from Shepherd in 2004, she landed in customer service, producing large and small volume print jobs at an office supply store's print and copy center. She then found herself as graphic designer in the newsroom at her hometown newspaper, and later - a photographer. Her next venture found her managing the office, providing graphic design services, making signage, and screen-printing for a local apparel printer and sign maker. Today she resides and works in Buckhannon, W.Va.
