Later, they laid together in AJ's big bed, in the aftermath of their emotional lovemaking. Brandy was laying peacefully on AJ's chest when she felt him move away. She looked up curiously as he leaned over the side of the bed and appeared to be reaching into his pants pocket for something.

Brandy gasped as he relaxed back onto the bed and presented her with the most beautiful ring she'd ever seen in her life.

"Will you marry me, Brandy?" he asked in a near whisper, and held his breath in anticipation of her answer.

Brandy's eyes filled with tears once again and she smiled through them as she gave him her answer. "Yes, AJ, yes!"

AJ pulled her close for one more hug as tears filled his own eyes.
