When the doctrinal changes began to occur soon after Herbert W. Armstrong died, January 19th, 1986, Jeff withdrew from the WCG and since then, fellowships with Christian Churches of God which believe in the keeping of God’s Commandments, His Sabbath and annual Holy Days, His instructions regarding clean and unclean meats as recorded in Leviticus chapter 11, and which believe in adult baptism by full immersion in water after belief of the true Good News and acceptance of the sacrifice of Christ for the remission of sins, followed by the laying on of hands of God’s ministry for the receiving of God’s Holy Spirit.
As God’s True Church is not a corporate entity but rather, a body of believers who are endeavoring to obey God’s truth, regardless of their corporate name, Jeff says Christ’s words were well chosen when He said, "They shall put you out of the Synagogues," (John 16:2), as He could just as easily have said, "They shall put you out of the Church," but the reason He didn’t say that was because He knows that no one but God can put you out of His Church, only out of a building, out of a corporate entity, and God is never going to permanently put any of His children out of His Church, (unless of course, they choose to practice willful, unrepentant sinning), for He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5).
In March 1998, Jeff established the Worldwide Web Church of God, as a resource to assist in the publishing of the true Good News as a witness to all nations, which Christ commissioned His Church to do before His return to establish God’s Kingdom on this earth.
