The Greatest Mistake

Lucifer made it, the patriarch Job made it, King David made it, I have made it and very likely you have too. We have all made mistakes in our lives, some not as serious as others, but the greatest mistake anyone can make is to entertain the thought that God is wrong, that He has made a mistake, that He is cruel or unkind, or just doesn’t understand.

God has done things or has allowed things to be done in the world, or in our lives personally, that could easily cause one to think He erred, was unmerciful, or unjust. Then bitterness springs up in our hearts and if unchecked, can turn us off of God and religion completely.

To one degree or another, every human being has the potential to think and believe that God is wrong. We must all get rid of that before we can grow and be truly fruitful.

God has lived forever before and will always live. He and Yeshua are absolutely perfect. They are completely devoid of iniquity. They cannot sin. They cannot be unjust or unmerciful. Their judgment is perfect at all times. And will always be so. Therefore, from now on, when things seem to go wrong, when God seems to have erred, by your reasoning, fix this thought firmly in your mind and never, ever, let it go: God cannot err. God is perfect. His intelligence is supreme. His wisdom, infinite. His understanding of all things is total. His love, absolute.

It is only when we come to fully realise this, that we can have a good relationship with God our Father, and then whatsoever we shall ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive.
