Page last updated January 1, 2003.

Welcome to A Woman's View. I am Renee' or to those here on the net The Runaway Bride. This is where it all began in January of 2001 using a webtv unit and their page builder. Since then I have bought a computer and through patiences and many long hours it has become this website.

My very first pages were for my nephew Luke Talbert who was born Dec. 21, 2000. I continue to update his pages with new pictures. I also have pages about my children, my family, and myself. If you have never met a real life hillbilly be sure to check out my pages on the great state of West Virginia.

There are many pages for your enjoyment including family pages, poetry, photos, and a Memorial tribute for September 11, 2001. A Woman's View also is where you will find the groups I belong to, my awards, and general information about me.

When you are finished here you may also want to check out my other websites which include a domestic violence help site called "When Love Hurts", "Elvis King of Rock 'N' Roll full of photos, facts and sounds of Elvis, my graphics and adoption site called "Runaway Bride Designs", my original poetry site called "Passion In The Fog" and the "Writers' Block" which contains poetry and short stories by various artists.

So come on in and get comfie. Grab the beverage and snack of your choice and visit for a while. And please be kind enough to sign my guestbook before you decide to go so I can visit your home also.

The Beauty of A Woman

The beauty of a woman
is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman
must be seen from within her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman
is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman
is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years--only grows!

This beautiful gift was sent to me by a very dear lady
named Brenda who I have met here on the net. It
arrived just in time for my birthday that I
celebrate on August 27th most years...LOL! Thank
you my dear friend for this!

A gift from a very nice lady named Donna that I met in the group Woman Of Strength and Inner Beauty.

When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me...
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
But I'll not be alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan;
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.

This was sent to my by a friend and so much sounds
like the words of what my Dad would say to all of
us. We lost him to cancer 18 years ago on
December 14th, 1983.........I Love You Daddy!

This flag is now a permanent part of this site in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. You may visit my tribute pages here.
