Clyde[Wompas cat] Jarrell was my grandmothers[Ora Baisden] baby brother. Clifford was his BIL. The last time I sa Clyde in person was in the mid 80,s when he came to visit me and stayed a few months during the winter. He used to send my then 10 year old son J.C. to the store to by him wine and cigarettes. He was the most unique' individual I have ever met. I always loved to visit my grandmother who lived on the creek behind the now Marhta Freewell Baptist Church. I used to play cars with Terry Harper,Dickie Jarrell, and Bruce Baisden under her house. It washed away and she used to blame me for undermining her house. I truly loved Aunt Laurie and uncle Sam Workman. I still miss them today. I hope to come back and visit Aunt Mildred Harper some day soon. She is the sweetest most kind lady I have ever met. bye Al [Pud] Greenwood.

Clifford was my uncle, however I do not remember ever meeting him. My father was Carson Greene his brother.
I do not recall ever going to Bandytown. I have retired after working 44 years in corporate America.

I just watched the documentary about the White family and got to reminiscing about a friend from the Air Force who was from Seth. He told many stories of this interesting character named "Wampus Cat" and the hills he called home. This was the early '80's and I was absolutely fascinated by the lore of his tales. My friend is a Hager and was a teenager when he would hang out with Mr Jarrell. Here's to ya Cat.........
