JACKIE D. DILLON, 58, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday May 31, 2004,
in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m.
Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jerry Galloway.
Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. He was born May 19, 1946 in Scottown,
Ohio, to the late Herman and Weltha Burcham Dillon. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Lee Dillon, one sister and
brother-in-law Lois and Bill Eads. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam
War, a life member of VFW Post #9738 Guyandotte, and a member of the
American Legion. He was a member of Local Union #669, a member of Elks
Lodge, and a member of the Brothers of the Wheel. He is survived by one son
and daughter-in-law, Matt and Lisa Dillon of Proctorville; two daughters,
Amy Jo Dillon of Dublin, Ohio, and Cheyenne Dillon of Sarasota, Fla.; two
sisters, Patti Adkins of Proctorville and Teresa and Steve Colopietra of
Dennison, Texas; special friend Paulette Webb of South Point, Ohio; four
grandsons, Nicholas Dillon, Bradley King, Blake King, and Bryan King;
sister-in-law, Ernestine Dillon of Proctorville; several nieces and nephews,
great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces.
