I have lost a few,
And that hurt me badly.
But one I lost,
Hurt me the most.
She was a girl who lit up my life,
But we were separated.
We drifted for a year,
Even though we still had talked.
But at a time,
Not very long ago.
I found that she had still loved me,
Even after being apart.
It made me smile,
And made me realize the love I had lost.
She always had a place in my heart,
Even when I wasn't paying attention.
I wish I would have never lost her,
I hurt her so badly.
But somehow, someway,
We found each other again.
And I remembered how much I loved her,
And finally told her that I had loved her.
And now she and I love each other more,
Than ever before.
Words can't even begin to describe,
How much love we share.
And I will do anything I can,
Not to lose her ever again.
