Four members of the Oceana Indians were selected All-State. 6' 3" Sophomore forward Matt Cook was selected to the Second Team All-State. 6'2" Sophomore guard Ryan Maynard was selected to Third Team All-State. 6'2" Senior Center Matt Price and 6'0" Sophomore Forward Ryan Cook were given Honorable Mention. All four deserve a hearty WELL DONE. This team was tenacious all year and played TEAM ball throughout the season. The above selections are a tribute to the team concept. We didn't have a "Super Star" we had a team of "Blue" collar workers...
Without the entire team the above four would not be where they are so the whole team deserves a mention here as well. #34 Junior guard Joey Allen, #44 Soph center Brent Prichard, #14 Soph guard Michael Asbury, #20 Junior guard Brandon Gregory, #35 Freshman Robert Repass, #50 Junior center/forward Phillip Rose, #42 Freshman forward Brooks Spolarich, #25 Soph guard Timmy Hurley and #33 Freshman guard Ryan Lusk.
