Chester and Delaware Cos.

MVC-010F.JPG (18035 bytes)  this map shows the courses, various streams and Fords on the Brandywine.

  MVC-009F.JPG (24476 bytes) this map is one done by the surveyor for Chester Co, Joseph Taylor, and dated 1701.  It is of the town of Chichester, also known as Marcus Hook.  Note the tiny houses along the bottom, representing various homes and buildings.  As all are different I imagine they are simplistic renderings of the actual buildings....
