Early Indian traders licenses in the County of Chester;
1722 James LeTort petitioned the court of Chester to recommend him to
the Gov. for license as an Indian Trader on the grounds that he had followed
that business for 25 years. He was licensed and gave his bond in the sum
of 100 £.
