Truman is from Lake, West Virginia where he and his wife Wilma Lee reside. He is the father of 3 children, two daughters, and a son. He has two grandchildren. His hobbies is playing with the grandkids and playing bluegrass. He is self - employed in the heating and air conditioning business. He is a versatile musician, playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro and bass. Truman sings lead, tenor and baritone harmonies. He currently is also a member of "The Martins" bluegrass band based in Harts, West Virginia. He is an original member of the “Rebels” band.
