Sheila's Pen and Ink
Pen and Ink Tag
While browsing through my tubes, I came across some
black and white tubes
and some sepia tones.
They reminded me of pen and ink drawings.
I have done some pen and ink drawings
myself and painted them with watercolor.
So, I decided to try to capture that same effect here.

A black and white or sepia tone tube
Here is the one I am using.
If this tube belongs to you, please let me know so that I can give you credit for it.
First let me tell you the basics of what we will do.
Open black and white tube image of your choice.
Shift + D to duplicate. Close the original.
Add a new layer to your duplicate image.
With the paint brush tool, color in one area of your tube.
Change the size of the paintbrush to a size you are comfortable working with.
You may want to use a small size to outline the area,
then change to a larger size to fill in with.
Also, you can use your eraser tool if needed.
I know, it looks ugly right now but do the next step>
When finished lower the opacity of that layer
till you get a look that you like.
Now, its lookin better, right?
Add a new layer. You may name your layers as you go if desired,
according to what part you are painting next.
Do the same thing on the next layer, choosing a color for clothing, hair etc.
Add a new layer for each new part that you paint.
Lower opacity to your liking.
