Last night the Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsered the Spring "Youth Explosion" at the Westside High Auditorium. The program was opened by President Patrick Brooks asking for any prayer requests. The prayers were taken to the Lord by Youth advisor Larry Mathis. Next was a short Christian Skit followed by the singing of the local Christian group G-Force. This was the first time I was able to hear G-Force sing and I was really impressed. A very good, young, Christian singing group. A offering was taken to help finance the Fellowship of Christian Athletes after which Larry Mathis introducee the speaker of the night Coach Tim Kennedy. But tonight he was just plain Tim, Christian speaker. Tim's message was on factor's and how we could change them. A very good message by someone who says he is learning. Man I want to hear you when you get good.
The Explosion continues tomorrow night(Friday) with Silas Mullins speaking and Saturday night(don't know the speaker). Come out and support the kids.
