Our Annual Closed Doubles Tournament sponsored by Alexander Forbes Risk Services was held on Sunday 19th May. We had an entry of 18 couples which were split into three pools. All teams played a minimum of 5 games.
The semi final matches were very close with Brian and Ryan Cooper losing 20 - 21 to JP vd Merwe and Denise Mulder and Brett and Sharon Cousins losing to Greg van Staden and Charles Meiring 19 - 21.
The final match saw Greg Van Staden and Charles Meiring beating JP vd Merwe and Denise Mulder 21 -15.
The day was completed with the prize giving and some lovely lucky draw prizes along with a braai.
