Bedding

Pine shavings are usually the easiest to find and most inexpensive bedding. Kiln-dried pine is the best to use, and I have heard that most of what you find in stores is kiln-dried. Some other types of bedding that can be used are aspen and Carefresh but these are usually a bit more expensive and may be harder to find depending on where you live. Give your chin fresh bedding every week and it is best to clean some of the waste out of the corners every other day or so to keep the cage clean. Most importantly, stay away from cedar, it can be toxic to any small animal!
