Chew Toys


Chins can get bored very easily, so it is important to have several chew toys for your chin, and rotate a few of them every week or two to keep your chin occupied. Make sure that anything you give your chin can be chewed safely because this is what they love to do! Some things they love are wood blocks (pine), pumice stones, rawhides, nylabones (available in fruit, peanut, and carrot flavors!), cardboard boxes, cardboard tubes, and chew sticks for rodents. Chins need to chew to keep their teeth short, so be sure to provide plenty for them to chew!


Exercise Wheels


To be sure that your chin gets enough exercise everyday, you should provide a safe exercise wheel. The wire wheels are not safe, as a chin can break a leg very easily in these. Be sure to have a wheel that is solid on the running surface and a solid side, without cross spokes. Here are a few links to websites with wheels to purchase:
