The seventh project of AV International was launched on 1 May 2002 and ended in February 2003.

  Members were growing plants from African violet leaves.

There were two different mystery Optimara leaves in this project [revealed to be]:

• 1 named Standard leaf [Optimara Nebraska 2]
• 1 named Semi miniature leaf [Optimara Little Maya]

Unfortunately, many participating members lost their project plants and there were not enough entrants for the two planned shows.
