Comfort and Joy

By Mike Harding

This play takes place in the north of England (the stamping ground of all true English comedians), right on Christmas with all the usual comforting trappings - freezing weather, cheeky carollers, uninvited guests, lights that won't work… The action centres around a typical piggin', bloody, soddin' family Christmas with the added trials of long-lost relatives, a missing saw, a right pair of nutters from next door but three and two incontinent cats.
