SLEEPING PRINCESS IN DEVIL'S CASTLE/Sleeping Princess In Devil's Castle

WOW, THIS IS THE DUB FUNIMATION'S DONE SINCE THEY STARTED DUBBING IT THEMSELVES! The title is an exact translation. Most of the names are pretty dead on, I mean c'mon, when in DBZ will FUNimation EVER use the word DEVIL in the title or call the villain LUCIFER?! Of course, why did they translate LUNCH as LAUNCH? Is it because she's usually shooting bombs, missiles, bullets, etc.? You see, FUNimation claims that they used this as a test to see how their in-house productions would work, and what the respone would be. Well, this was very good, but what happened after this?! As soon as they started dubbing "Ginyu: Assault" they apparently fell apart. Kuririn's child voice sounds very good, Goku is okay, Bloomer sounds alot better than she does now in DBZ and Yamcha has just started to get back to this level of quality. Oolong is pretty crappy, and Kamesennin is a mixed effort, but Lunch and the villains all sounded decent. Sigh...Anyway, I must admit that this my favorite DB film. The plot, the jokes, the action, the design of the Devil's Hand fortress and the demons themselves...I love it. It's very sickening that this came out so good, and all of their DBZ dubs have been, um...MSTK worthy. It's also a big plus that they used the original background music, how I'm dreamed of hearing it in the dub. Yet I wonder why the opening theme wasn't the japanese original as in the DBZ movies, maybe because Pioneer made those, I don't know. Oh well, I like the US opening song too.
