Ordering Terms & Information

VARA statement:
  • I apply all VARA and Intellectual Property Law to my finished work, including both paintings and sculptures (bronze, ceramic, and resin). For those not familiar with the VARA act, Intellectual Property Law, or lawyer gibberish in its entirety, this basically means I do not wish anyone to alter or destroy my work, in any manner, without my express written and dated consent. Keep in mind that good faith repair and restoration is excluded under VARA, so you do not need my permission to restore an item back to its original state.
  • I apply only Copyright/Intellectual Property Law for the painting of my unpainted sculptures or "blank" casts.

    Pricing:
  • A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to hold an item.  Full payment is not due until the piece is completed and ready to ship, but any item may be paid in full at the time of ordering.
  • A full refund, including deposit, will be given in the event the item is sold out at the time order is received.
  • Payment in installments is acceptable, please e-mail me to discuss a time frame that fits your needs.
  • All completed work, including finished resins, must be paid for within 60 days of completion. In the case of unpainted resins, the piece must be paid for within 30 days after the resin has been cast and is ready to ship.   If these terms are not met, payment less deposit will be refunded and the item will be resold.
    • Shipping:
  • All items must be paid in full before they can be shipped.
  • Please allow up to 150 days for completion of commissioned pieces. Rush orders not available.
  • In the case of multiple purchases, shipping costs will be adjusted.  Special requirements (such as foreign or overnight delivery) will incur additional costs.

    Warranty:
  • All resins have a one year warranty on the resin body.  This covers any warpage and other disfiguration not caused by mishandling.
  • Resins finished by the artist also include a one year warranty covering the finish and paint.  This does not cover scratches, rubs, or damage caused by improper care.

    Breakage & Repairs:
  • Any rubs, breaks, discoloration, or other damage not covered in the warranty can be restored by artist.  Cost of repair will be charged on an hourly basis.
  • Restoration by any other artist will null any warranties provided above.
  • If an item is damaged during initial shipment, please contact the artist as soon as possible about filing an insurance claim.

    Refunds/Exchanges:
  • Refunds or exchanges will be made if sufficient reason is given within 10 days of receiving the item. Deposits will not be refunded on commissioned work.
  • No refund or exchange will be given if the piece is displayed in any type of exhibition.
