Sarra
"Sarra, late again." the harper said without even looking up from his role sheet. Sarra felt her checks burn but said nothing. She only looked around and tryed to find an emty seat in the back. "There is a seat up front for you girl, so sit." Sarra obeyed and sat, muttering softly under her breath. Shre had always been a rebel, never doing what she was forced to and never caring about what others thought about her. Her mother and father had given up upon her long ago, they both were brewers and thought it was a stage that she would grow out of, and they were still waiting for that to happen.
"Sarra," the harper said, "Recite the duty song." Sarra did so, loudly so that everyone could hear. this song had alway interested her, about what the people should do for the weyr and what the weyrs should do in return. Life in a Weyr seemed so much better then that in any hold, and someday, maybe she might be free of life in Ishilar hold and free of boring harpers who "thought" that they could teach, someday. She finished reciting the duty song and sat down nad started to day dream.
"Sarra?" the harper said, "Sarra." He said loudly and she jumped. "Class was over five minuites ago.
"Sorry." Sarra said, grabbing her hide-bound book as she exited the room as quickly as possible.
