Part 1
It was finally the big night. The night of the Backstreet Boys concert. Kristen's biggest dream finally came true. After winning two tickets over the radio she was finally going to be in the front row watching her favorite music group perform. After hearing what the Backstreet Boys did during 'The Perfect Fan', Kristen decided to take her mother with her.
Kristen was an everday 17 year old senior at Central High School. She was 5'5" with blondish brown hair and brown eyes. She'd been a true Backstreet Boys fan since her 9th grade year. Howie has always been her favorite. The huge age difference never stopped her from liking her buffmiester.
"Mom, I can't believe I'm here. I'm going to cry," Kristen said waiting for the Boys to come out since the opening acts had just finsihed.
"You better not do anything stupid," Kristen's mom told her. "You are too obbsessed. After this concert lay for a little bit."
"I can't do that Mom. That's asking a lot," Kristen said as the lights went out. Then soon after five guys came out on surf board type things and sang their opening, 'Larger than Life'.
All through the concert she never took her eyes off Howie but Nick never seemed to take his eyes off of her since he spotted her out in the audience. It was finally time for the guys to sing 'The Perfect Fan'. Five daughters and their mothers were escorted on stage and each guy picked a pair. Kristen and her mom were taken on stage and picked by Nick. Kristen was a little disappointed that she wasn't picked by Howie but was happy with Nick. Nick first too her mom by the hand and led her around the stage then came back for Kristen and did the same. As he walked her around all she could think about was how good he looked in person. As the song came closer to the end Kristen began crying. Nick saw that and put his arm around her. When the song was over Nick wiped away Kristen's tears then gave both her and her mom a hug. They were then escorted back to their seats.
After the concert Kristen and her mom were in the parking lot trying to get the car started.
"Come on start. I don't believe this!" Kristen's mom said with a worried tone in her voice.
"Great, this is so embarassing," Kristen said.
"How is this embarassing? We're the only ones in the parking lot."
"That's not the point mom."
"This car better start because I am not walking around Denver looking for help at midnight," her mom said as she turned the key again but it still didn't start. "Well we're stuck here."
"Oh well. No school for me tomorrow," Kristen said.
"Oh your still going to school."
"Tonight was the best night of my life. I still can't believe that they picked me and Nick gave me a hug and he wiped my tears away and Howie....ichawawa!"
"Kristen shut up. I don't want to hear it," her mom yelled then looked in the rear view mirror and saw two bus head lights coming towards them.
"Finally there's help," her mom said then got out of the car and waited for it to approach. When the bus came to a stop a man large in stature stepped out.
"Do you need any help ma'am?" the man asked.
"Yes sir we do. I can't seem to get our car started," she said then heard the passenger door slam shut.
"I can't believe it. That's the Backstreet Boys bus. Are you their body guard?" Kristen asked with much excitement.
"Yes I am."
"Are they on there?" Kristen asked.
"Yeah. I have an idea. If you promise to control yourself you can go on the bus and talk to them while I check your car over to see what's wrong with it."
"Really?" Kristen said as her face lit up in excitement.
"Sure, follow me," the body guard said and led them onto the bus.
