"Uh, Kristen, ten seconds has been up," Cassie said interupting Nick and Kristen's kiss.
"What?" Kristen asked when her and Nick pulled away.
"I said that ten seconds is up you can stop kissing Nick now."
"Oh, okay."
"I think we've played enough of this game for the night," Kevin said. "Angela do you have a radio that works off batteries so we can see when this storm is going to let up?"
"I don't think that I have any batteries but I'll go check," Angela said getting up and walking into her room followed by Brian.
"You know, we could be stuck here for the night," Brian said in Angela's room.
"If you're getting any idea you can forget it."
"Why?"
"Because there would be six other people staying here tonight," Angela said.
"Well that's no fun," Brian whined.
"Sorry," Angela said leaving the room. "I don't have any batteries guys sorry."
"I think I might have a small radio that has batteries in it in my room. I'll be right back," Kristen said getting up.
"I'll help you find it," Nick said following Kristen.
"Sorry if it's a little messy in here but me and Cassie always have trouble finding something to where and we end up throwing everthing everywhere," Kristen said.
"It's okay. Do you mind if I look through your videos?"
"No go ahead. It's not like we can watch anything with the power off," Kristen said. "Hey I found the radio."
"That's good. What is this recorded tape that says Kristen and Deena's Britney Spears act?" Nick asked looking through the tapes.
"Oh nothing. Just some stuff we did in high school."
"Who is Deena?"
"That's my sister," Kristen said.
"So what exactly did you two do together?"
"It wasn't just me and Deena. It was Cassie and two of my sister's friends too."
"We'll have to watch it sometime," Nick said.
"I do not think so. Not any time in this life time."
"What's so bad about it? You're not Britney Spears are you?" Kristen just looked at Nick. "I guess you are. How cute."
"Shutup Carter. It's not cute and you're not watching it, ever." Just then the lights in the room came on. "Hey the electricity is back on."
"Yeah that means we can watch this tape," Nick said.
"I don't think so."
"I do," Nick said taking the tape and running out of the room. Kristen ran after him.
"What are you two doing?" Howie asked.
"Cassie he took the tape!" Kristen hollered.
"What tape?"
"The tape of the talent show we did."
"So."
"So he wants to watch it!"
"So let him. It's no big deal."
"What's this tape of Nick?" AJ asked.
"Kristen being Britney Spears for a talent show."
"Hey this I gotta see," AJ said taking the tape from Nick and putting it in the VCR. He then went and sat next to Kristen on the couch and put his arm around the back of it. On the tape Cassie and three other dancers came out dancing and then when the verse came on Kristen came out dressed as Britney Spears singing and dancing.
"How come I have never seen this?" Angela asked.
"Because I think it's embarassing."
"Hey it looks pretty good," Kevin said. In the tape Kristen started singing "hit me baby one more time" and AJ leaned in and whispered in her ear.
"You know, I wouldn't mind you hitting me baby," he said. Kristen looked at him.
"I don't find it funny AJ."
"I'm sorry." The tape ended and the guys applauded.
"On that stage you do look like Britney," Brian said.
"You seem to think like everyone else but me," Kristen said.
"You know, you two are very good dancers," Kevin said to Kristen and Cassie. "They have auditions here all the time for dancers. You two should try out sometime."
"Thank you Kevin but I think I'll pass on that," Kristen said.
"Not me. I've always wanted to be a professional dancer," Cassie said.
"You should go for it," Kevin said.
"Hey turn on the news so we can see when this storm gets over," Howie said. They watched the news to find out that the storm wouldn't be over until early morning.
"It looks like you guys should just crash here for the night," Angela said.
"Hey, I don't mind that a bit," Brian said.
"Me niether," AJ said looking right at Kristen. Nick saw the way he was looking at her and he glared at him.
"Well why don't we put the movie on that we rented," Cassie said.
"Good idea," Howie said. Angela got up and put the tape in. Everyone got comfortable and then she turned off the lights. Kristen was starting to fall asleep on the couch.
"Tired?" AJ asked Kristen. Kristen nodded her head. "Come here and lay down." AJ scooted over on the couch and placed a pillow on his lap which Kristen layed her head on. He then pulled a blanket over her and she slowly drifted to sleep. After the movie was over it was about one in the morning. Angela turned on the lights and practically blinded everyone.
"So where is everyone going to sleep tonight?" Cassie asked.
"Well me and Brian will be in my room, you and Kristen in yours and I guess the rest of you guys can sleep in here if you don't mind," Angela said.
"We don't mind at all," Howie said.
"I think Kristen will just sleep on this couch with me. If I move her she'll wake up and she looks peaceful," AJ said.
"Okay that works. We'll see you guys in the morning," Angela said and her and Brian went to bed.
"Night guys," Cassie said getting up.
"Night," Kevin said.
"I think I should put Kristen in her bed," Nick said.
"Just leave her be. She's tired so don't wake her up," AJ said.
"You can't sleep sitting up with her asleep on your lap," Howie said.
"Yeah I can. I've fallen asleep sitting up plenty of times."
"Okay," Howie said. The rest of the guys laid down on the floor and on the couch. Slowly everyone fell asleep except Nick who couldn't sleep one wink being able to see Kristen practically cuddled up to AJ on the couch.
