Part 13

"So Kevin what do you actually think of Cassie?" AJ asked after they dropped Cassie and Angela off at three in the morning.

"Why do you ask that?" Kevin asked.

"Because you two sure were getting down on that dance floor tonight."

"Is this your way of asking if I like Cassie and if I'm going to ask her out?"

"Yeah sort of," AJ said.

"Truthfully I like her as a friend and that's all."

"Friends don't grind together Kevin. Only people who like each other and or dating."

"Then how do you explain all the times you were grinding and freaking with girls?"

"That's different. That's me and we're talking about you."

"I'm just going to leave it at that. You confuse me sometimes," Kevin said getting into his car and leaving. Inside the apartment Kristen was woken up by Cassie coming into the room.

"So how was your night?" Kristen asked tiredly.

"Oh thank God you are up!" Cassie said.

"What happened?"

"Oh nothing special just me and Kevin dancing a lot."

"And that is so special because....."

"Because we were dancing really close! He is such a good dancer! I totally dispise every girl that he has ever dated!"

"Whoa hold up a second. Now you have a thing for Kevin? What happened to Brian?" Kristen asked.

"Brian is going out with Angela. Where have you been?"

"So you go after Kevin?"

"Why not? You and Angela are both dating a Backstreet Boy why shouldn't I be?"

"Girl that is wrong. They are humanbeings to you know. There's more to them than their occupation."

"Oh give me a break. If Nick or AJ asks you out you know you would say yes in a heart beat," Cassie stated.

"I don't know. Speaking of them. Me and Nick have a date tomorrow night."

"When did he ask you out on a date?"

"He called me at work. And that's not all. AJ stopped by my work to bring me a rose and to say hello," Kristen said.

"Both of them boys like you. Which one are you going for?"

"I'm not really going for either one of them. Just if I like one of them more than friends then I do. If I don't I don't."

"Okay, honestly. Who do you like more?"

"I don't know dude. But AJ is such a sweet heart! When we played that dare game and me and AJ had to go skinny dipping together we just talked the whole time. It was like it didn't matter if we were completely in the buff we could still easily talk to each other. And he's so easy to talk to. I love it. Then when I kissed him it was so sincere. And he stops by my work just to say hello to me."

"What about Nick? I thought he did something for you?"

"He does but AJ seems more of the romantic type and I like romantic," Kristen said.

"But when you kissed Nick you kissed him longer than expected."

"So that doesn't mean anything."

"So what you are saying is you are liking AJ yet you agreed to go out on a date with Nick which is sort of leading him on, right?" Cassie asked.

"No that is not what I'm saying. I told you, I'm not going for anyone. Nick asked me to dinner and I gladly accepted. There's nothing wrong with that. People go out to dinner all the time together and don't get hooked up."

"What are you going to wear on this date tomorrow night?"

"I don't know. I think I'm going to go shopping and get something new. You going to come with me?"

"Sorry, no can do. I have to work tomorrow and so does Angela."

"Well that's just great. I have to get something that I look good in and I can't be the judge of that."

"You make no sense. You like AJ and are trying to impress Nick."

"Hey I always have to look good when I go out. So who am I going to take if you and Angela can't come?"

"Take AJ with you. He'll definately give you an honest opinion."

"That would be wrong but I would like to spend the day with him. I'll give him a call tomorrow."

"Good now go to sleep. I'm beat from all the dancing. Man am I going to have good dreams tonight," Cassie said.

'Probably about Kevin' Kristen thought as she slowly fell asleep looking forward to the next day. She fell asleep curiously wondering how the next day shopping with AJ would be and if her feelings for him were more than she thought.
