May 12th—9:00 a.m. Dan Rowe; Grand Visit for Lodge Procedure and 4:00 Highway Clean-up, 6:00 picnic at Candy Jack Park. Bring the family! All Bodies please help with Highway Clean-up. August 4th and 5th Pageant Days, Taco Feed in the State Park. August 25th—3-on-3 REGIONAL b-ball tournament (In Thermop) MOT ClubTaco Feed, come help then too! |
Big Horn Basin Master’s Club In March, five Brothers attended the annual Big Horn Basin Master’s Club in Cody, WY. Brother Bob Brown was awarded the Paul S. Woodward Award for exemplifying the qualities of a true Mason. Congratulations Brother Bob! Malta Lodge #17 also received the Traveling Trophy/Plaque for the most members traveling the greatest distance. There was no ritual competition this year due to a more instructional format. The "raising" section of the third degree was put on and discussed to show all present the proper way of performing the ritual. On April 5th, a Brother from Scotland also visited the Cody Lodge. He is the Provincial Grand Lodge Secretary. |
Malta Lodge In Cyber Space The Malta Lodge website now has over 2000 hits now. Brother Eric Kay challenged all of the Lodges present at Master’s Club to create a website for their home lodge. Brother Eric has heard from a couple of the Brothers present via the Lodge’s guest-book. DeMolay Initiation There were 10 boys, all 8th graders, initiated into our brand new chapter of DeMolay. If you know of any other boys, ages 12 to 21 that would be interested please contact John Brooks at 864-2108. We will need 21 boys to have a full Chapter we are currently meeting under the Casper, WY, chapter.
