PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR YEAR AS MASTER OF THE LODGE:

I was installed as Worshipful Master twenty-five years to the date I was raised to a Master Mason. Our main project for the year was to catch up the Masonic Widows recognition that had been started about 10 years before. This project involved old membership records and minutes for several years (Eastern Star and Wyoming Grand Lodge helped in our research). We continued the Masonic Trestle Board newsletter to the members.

At the Big Horn Masters Club meeting, Malta Lodge took one first place and two second places. Malta Lodge received the Metorious Award in 1991-92 from the Wyoming Grand Lodge and Grand Master Scott Coffey. Malta Lodge # 17 did three (3) Entered Apprentice, three(3) Fellowcraft, and three (3) Master Mason Degrees this year.

Officers were: S.W Jack Chopping, J.W Ralph Hasting, Treasure Charles T. Smith, Secretary George Odde, S. D. John Brooks, J.D. William Gorden, S.S David Denton, J.S. Michel Sutherland, Chaplain Lewis Einer, Tyler Earl Voorhees.

Degree work was done in Galilie 810A in Kaiserslauten, West Germany as a courtesy for Mount Wolford Lodge # 163 in Kremmling, Colorado.
