Of all the places in this world that need the love of Jesus, Guben is but one of them. This how we took Jesus to the streets. We did lot's of different things. The Aussie girls played the timbrel, which is a very Salvo (and ancient Hebrew) thing to do. It's something rarely seen here, and designed to grab attention. |

Uta, Daniela and Janett did an interpretive dance to a CD, the Australians put on dramas and sang group songs. |
Aussies, Germans and even the odd Amerikaner (yes, he was a bit odd...) got together to demonstrate Christian unity and love. |

One day we went out, but the weather didn't look too promising, so,
right at the start we prayed that the rain would stay away. And it did!
This impressed the Glühwein Doktor who was selling drinks from a caravan, that he gave us all some yummy Apfel juice, and then played volk musik afterwards so we could dance! We had a taste of Germany and he got a demonstration of the power of prayer! |
Personal testimonies were given and the gospel message was presented. Here is Patrick explaining how to get to heaven with the parable of the kamel and the eye of the needle, and Thomas translating. That's Honza being assistant easel, about all he was good for in Deutschland! |

Team members, and passing kids were used to spell out bible verses, this one is a message of hope for the townsfolk. Für Menschen ist es unmöglich, aber bei Gott ist alles möglich! Matthaüs 19:26. (For man this is impossible, but for God, ALL things are possible.) |
