"Hey Meghan. I wanna talk to you first before we go inside,"Zac told me.
"Ok. What do ya have to say?"I said.
"Well, ever since we became friends, I kinda developed a crush on you,"Zac said.
"So you like me huh?"I asked.
"Yeah,"Zac answered, blushing a bit.
"Well, to tell you the truth, I've always have had a crush on you, and after you moved here, I had an even bigger crush,"I told Zac.
"You really like me too?!?!"Zac asked me, surprised.
"Yeah."
"I've always thought you've liked me as a friend."
"Nope. I've liked you more than a friend Zac."
"Ok. Then, umm, would you like to go out with me?"Zac asked me.
"Sure Zac. I would love to go out with ya,"I said smiling.
"For real?"
"Yeah."
"So this means I have a girlfriend now?"
"Yeah. And I've got a boyfriend."
"Yeah. Uhh, let's go inside now,"Zac said.
"Ok,"I said.
Zac and I both went inside the house with Zac leading. Everybody there yelled surprise and happy birthday, and I was really surprised. The Hansons and Crazy 8 had planned a surprise birthday party for me. The party was Zac's idea. I didn't even think I would have a birthday party this year like I did last year. But I was wrong!
"So, let's party,"Zac told me.
"Ok!"I exclaimed.
The Hansons and the rest of Crazy 8 gave me gifts, and I opened them then. There was music playing on the living room stereo, and almost everybody danced. Some of my other friends were there too, like Lucy and Emily. Zac later told me the party was his idea, and I thanked him. The party lasted about 3 hours, and then the rest of Crazy 8 and my friends had to go. I thanked everybody for the gifts. The place was kind of a mess, and there was still some cake left. Tay and Zac were whispering to each other, and I did not know why, but I didn't care.
"So did you ask her out?"Tay whispered to Zac.
"Oh yeah. She's my girlfriend now,"Zac whispered back.
They whispered a while longer, and I saw that Tay was smiling after they had finished their little conversation. Later, Zac and I went on a little walk around the neighborhood.
"So what was the best gift that you've gotten today?"Zac asked me.
"You asking me out was the best gift,"i answered, smiling.
Zac smiled back, "Really?"
"Yep. I have always been wondering if you were going to ask me out or not,"I told him.
"Well, I asked ya out. Should we do something later, just the 2 of us?"Zac said.
"Sure."
"Cool!"
We talked some more, and walked for about an hour. Then we went home so my family and I could go out for dinner before Brenda had to leave. So we went to the Outback Steakhouse.

The next day, Zac and I went to the mall to see a movie and hung out. We had seen Inspector gadget together, and liked it. The we walked around the mall. We walked, talked, and looked at some things. We went into Sam Goody, Walden Bookstore, Target, and some pther places. We even had ice cream before we left. Then Tay picked us up after Zac called him.
