Since it was pretty cold outside, Hanson let us practice in their studio. The garage wold be too cold for Crazy 8. That was when Walker had given us the good news.
"Well guys, the manager of the Casper Records liked your music, and want to sign you guys,"Walker told us.
"Cool!"all of us said.
"When do we start?"I asked.
"Whenever you want to start recording,"Walker answered.
"Maybe we can start recording tomorrow, take like 2-3 days off, and record some more. We could try to get the album done by spring,"Nathan suggested.
"I like that idea!"I said.
Everybody else in Crazy 8 agreed, so we would start recording tomorrow. Walker left, and we practiced. We were pretty excited about having a record deal now. Walker came back, and told us we could start tomorrow. Soon everybody was really looking forward to tomorrow!
The next day, Crazy 8 went over to Casper Record. We met with the producers, and talked about making the album. We discussed some things, like which songs to record, and that kind of thing. Then we set up a date of when we would officially start recording, which was December 27. We were there for a couple of hours, and then left Casper Records.
