On January 20, Hanson went to Los Angeles to make a video for This Time Around. They started working on it the next day. They did the video at this 1 old hotel. David Meyers directed the video. They worked on the video for 2 days, and MTV had followed them around for "Making the Video." The guys had to cut out a couple of things. After the guys came back after they were done with the video, Zac had told me everything about making it. I thought it sounded pretty cool.
In Feburary, the middle school class were busy putting together the Valentine Bingo. The bingo night was on the 10th. Many people came and played bingo. I had hated the whole thing since it was soooo boring. Zac and the rest of Crazy 8 agreed with me about that.
In March, Hanson went to New York over spring break. They were on Hanson@MTV on the 6th. They were also on TRL. They performed "This Time Around" and "If Only" that day. MTV showed "Making the Video" of This Time Around too. Of course, I had taped everything. The video was really cool, and the guys did a good job performing their 2 songs. Over the week after MTV, they went to a couple of radio stations.
On the 10th, my dad, sister, and I went to Sheridan to attend cousin Becky's wedding. Mom was already in Sheridan. We got there, and went to Babe's flower shop. I stayed there with mom while dad went to the warehouse market and Riece was at the hotel. I helped mom arrange some flowers, and decorate the church. When we entered the church, the whole place started to seem familiar. I then remember why it seemed so familiar; that was the church we went to for great grandma's funeral in July of 1994.
We went to the wedding that night at 6:00. I was so bored! Becky got married to Nathan. Then we went to the reception afterwards. There, I saw my grandparents, cousins from my grandma's family, and my aunt Brenda. Brenda wasn't wearing a dress! I was wearing 1, why couldn't she?!?! I really hated wearing dresses. We went home the next day, and Hanson came home that same day, but at around dinner time.
