Zac sat next to me at math time. Since the desks are everywhere in the front of the classroom, Mr Gaither has to tell us where to sit. Some of us have to stay at our own desks like Micheal, Erin, Dan, Jessica, Andrew, me, and some other kids. Zac was assigned to sit next to me. Mr Gaither saw how well we got along, and he decided to have Zac sit at Megan's desk. Zac saw me write down the address to my site while we were talking about the prices to the foods for the Valentine Bingo and school store.

It was lunch time. Since Zac brought a cold lunch, I told him to find a table that was empty. Bill and Nathan went with him since he had a cold lunch too. John, Jennifer, Amanda, and I went to get our hot lunch. The lines aren't very long except on Wednesdays. Today was a Wednesday, so the line started to get longer. But we were first in line. We got our Little Ceaser's pizza, and sat down with Bill, Nathan, and Zac.
"Pizza! I didn't know the school served them,"Zac said.
"We get Little Caser's pizza every Wednesdays. If you bring a dollar, you can get an extra slice,"I told Zac.
"Cool! I will bring a dollar next week. Now, what is this Valentine Bingo thingy,"Zac said.
"I don't really quite know. We weren't here last year. But it's a fundraiser for the middle school class so we can go on that spring trip. Abbi said that people come to play bingo, and get something to eat and drink. I don't know much about it, but we'll find out tomorrow night,"I explained to Zac. (***That's what we do at my school. It is a fundraiser for the spring trip.***)
"Okay. Jessie and Avie would want to come then. They love to play bingo,"Zac said.
"I didn't know that! I want to meet your family,"Jennifer said.
"Well, I do know what Zoe looks like since I do have the video,"I told Jen and Amanda. "Zac, your baby sister's cute,"I said to him.
"Yeah. I've watched The Road to Albertane with Meghan several times,"Bill said.
"So did I! I really like that video. I want my own tour videos you and your bros made,"John said to Zac.
"I don't exactly know how you can get along with your family very well. I fight with my older sister and my younger brother all the time,"John.
"John, Hanson have a very tight relationship with each other. The guys do have several agruements once in a while, and it's mostly about the music. And once they were yelling at their computer,"I told John.
"How did you know about us yelling at the computer?"Zac asked me.
"I have read that 1 interview on the net. I thought that was pretty funny!"I answered.
"Oh! At least I think I know where you got the other stuff. You got it from 'Tulsa, Toyko, and the Middle of Nowhere' video, didn't you,"Zac said.
"I sure did! I like that video, but the only thing I hate about it is the fans screaming. That really annoys me.(***That's true. I hate having to listen to the fans screaming on that video.***) So I like the Road to Albertane better. My favorite part from the first video is when you guys are pretending to fight or something like that while one of you is talking about the relationship. I like it the best when Tay and Ike push you towards the couch, and you end up behind it. I always laugh at that part,"I said.
"Hello Meghan. Can I sit here,"Megan asked and signed.
"If you don't scream or freak out. Zac really hates that,"I answered while I was signing.
Megan sat down. We chatted some more. Then we got up to dump our trays or throw away the trash, and sat down again.
"So what is it like to be deaf?"Zac asked me.
"Well, you can't hear anything at night, and I'm glad about that. I don't want to listen to storms, windows rattling when it is windy, or the cats fighting. My cat Mouse do fight with another cat at night. My sister told me that several times during the spring and summer. I like being deaf because then you can talk without your voice. Then it's easier to exchange secrets once in a while,"I said.
"What do you call talking with your hands?"Zac asked.
"It's sign language. And I know that Tay knows 1 sign. I've seen him do it at the end of the Hanson Scrapbook, and in The Road to Albertane. He does that 'I Love You' sign,"I said.
"I've seen him do it several times, but I never knew what it meant!"Zac said, surprised.
"If you want to know some signs, just join the Sign Language Club. I am controling it, and I make the plans. But first, you need to learn the numbers and fingerspelling,"I said.
"I want to join! When is it, and where do we have the meetings?"Zac said.
"We meet every Mondays at 12:30 in the middle school classroom. Think you can eat that fast?"I said.
"Sure I can,"Zac answered.
"Meghan, what are we going to do at the next meeting,"Bill asked.
"Donna and I decided we should play a couple of games. We're thinking we will have 1 group play Old Maid with the sign language cards, and the other group can play dominoes. Then we will switch 15 minutes later,"I answered.
"Okay. At least I know how to play Old Maid now,"John said.
We laughed at that. John was confused with that game on Monday. Donna had to explain to him how to play the game.
"Who's Donna?"Zac asked.
"She helps me with the club. We won't have a club meeting next Monday because there is no school. But you will still see her in the afternoons working with Megan on other days,"I told him.

We went outside. Megan decided to hang out with Katie.
"Good, Megan's not hanging out with us. She's insane. She's been weird ever since she showed up last month,"Jen said.
"She's been weird even before that. She was like that at the deaf schol since 4th grade. She might have been crazy before then, but I don't know. Everybody thinks she's crazy anyway,"I said.
We chatted some more with Zac. Bill, John, Nathan, Jen, Amanda, and I told him what we usually do everyday, and that kind of thing.
