Dad, the grandparents, and Brenda showed up, and mom stood up so the could see her. Dad saw her, and led the others to where we were sitting. I sat between dad and grandma. We talked for a while. Then at 7, the ceremony started.
The principal of the high school started talking. Then the top students talked for a while. The graduation was kinda boring, but I taped almost everything. There was a slideshow that was made by several students in graphics class. There were no pictures of Riece though since she never did give the students any pictures to include in the slideshow. The choir also did a couple of songs, which were directed by Mrs. Patton.
The seniors were given their dipolmas. Riece got hers, and I videotaped her walking across the stage to recieve her dipolma, and walking back to her seat. I also did get a shot of Riece's best friend Amy getting her dipolma too. Soon after, the ceremony was over. It took us a while to find Riece, but Brenda found her. Mom, Grandma, Brenda, and dad took pictures of Riece with Amy, Riece with the family, Riece with David, etc... Riece didn't like getting her pictures taken, but did her poses anyway.
At about 9:30 or so, mom, David, and I got back to the house. Dad, my grandparents, and Brenda parked across the street in front of the Hanson house. Zac was watching out the window and when he saw me get out of the car, he ran out of the front door screaming my name. He ran across the street and we hugged.
"Meghan! Laramie was soooo boring!"Zac told me with a weird voice, making me laugh.
We all went inside the house, and waited for Riece and Amy to show up. They showed up eventually. We had some cake and Riece soon wanted to open her gifts. We were soon sitting wherever we could sit while Riece and Amy sat on the chair and footstool or whatever it was in the living room. Zac and I sat together on the floor in front of the light green and white couch.
Riece opened her gifts. the first gifted she opened was a DVD player.
"Oooooo, a DVD player!"Riece said with excitement.
She and Amy started talking about it and kinda argued over it. Then Riece preceded opening her next gift, which were some candles, a blue inflatible furniture chair, a box of macaroni and cheese, 1 can of peas, and some junk. She and Amy again argued and talked about the stuff. They were being weird.
"That Amy sure is a weirdo,"Zac whispered in my right ear.
"I know. She always is, but I like her and Riece loves her,"I whispered back.
"What are you guys talking about?"Amy asked us weirdly.
"Nothing!"Zac replied quickly, and I laughed.
Amy just gave us a strange look, and Zac was laughing. He was laughing so hard, and everyone else were trying to figure out what was so funny.
"Why is your boyfriend laughing?"Amy asked me.
"I have no idea Amy! I'm thinking he's lost his mind,"I answered, watching Zac laugh.
"You better shut him up Meghan!"Riece yelled at me.
I just dragged Zac outside and we sat on the steps of the porch. Zac's laughter was soon gone.
"Ok Zaccers, what was so funny?"I asked him.
"Amy. I've never met a girl that was as weird as Amy was. The way she gave us a strange look, how she asked us a question weirdly, ya know,"Zac told me.
"Zac, you've lost your mind,"I told him.
"Ok, so I did. I might have lost it on that boring tour in Laramie!"Zac exclaimed and jumped up.
"Now what are you doing?"I asked.
"Just being weird,"Zac replied weirdly.
"Weird?!?! You're insane!"I exclaimed, making him laugh.
"Meggers, I gotta get home. See ya over the weekend and at school next Monday. I'll definately be at that party you guys are putting together,"Zac told me.
"K Zaccers. See ya tomorrow!"I said as he ran towards his house and went inside.
I went inside the house, and talked with the others for a while. Then Amy and Riece went out for a cruise in Riece's car. Grandma, grandpa, and Brenda dropped dad off at his apartment and they went to their hotel for the night. Mom and I talked for a while. I told her about the spring trip and all that. We went to bed eventually that night.
