Chapter 39: Summer
We did a lot of practicing. Riece was working at Walmart while it was being turned into a Super Walmart. One weekend, Dad and I went to Laramie and spent the weekend at Grandma's for the last time before she moved to Sheridan. We did go to Ft. Collins. We had lunch there, went to the Barnes and Nobles bookstore, and to some other stores. Grandma had bought me some books by Lurlene McDaniel. I had really become addicted to McDaniel's books over the year since I ordered one through the book order one day.
After that weekend, Crazy 8 and Hanson had to do some traveling to do some apperances and stuff. Hanson.net, Hanson's internet community and ISP was set up, and in action. We traveled to a lot of places. Crazy 8's done more apperances than Hanson did in the summer. We were on Rosie, David Letterman, Jay Leno, TRL a few times, and a bunch of other shows. Both bands had done lots of radio interviews, and we've done some autograph signing.
In July, Hanson were the performace judges for the Say What karoke finals. We got to watch them be judges, and it was quite funny! There was this one chick who was hitting on Zac. Zac was pretty crazy throughout the show. The guys had a lot of fun being the judges, and we had fun watching.
From July 20 to 26th, I was in Sheridan at my grandparents' new house. My cousins were there too, with uncle Kevin, aunt Marcia, and their dog Belle. It was a fun week. Riece even had gone for a few days too. We went to Montana on the 21st, Riece went home on the 23rd, went to a small town called Story which is about 30 miles out of Sheridan for a picinic and a visit to the fish hatchery, and to Buffalo which is about 90 miles out of Sheridan for some miniature golfing. It was a fun week. Emily and I had even came up with a really long treasure hunt for Katie and Sara, 149 clues! Marcia got to try out rollerblading with my blades one night with Brenda, and they had fun. I did blade with them one night too, and it was fun.
On the 26th, I left Sheridan and went to Tulsa. Crazy 8 and Hanson set up the insturments and we practiced. We were getting ready for our tour. We practiced a lot through out the day. Crazy 8 got to meet some of Hanson's friends, and they were pretty cool.
From July 27 to sometimes in November, Hanson and Crazy 8 did the tour together. They toured United States, Mexico, some European countries, and South America. After the tour, they went back home. Tay, Zac, and the rest of Crazy 8 went back to their schools, Crazy 8 starting at Centennial Junior High as freshmen.
I am going to end "Hanson in Town" like this for now. I'll probably write a sequal to this story sometimes. Hope you enjoyed this story!
