I got my stuff out of the car, my backpack full of junk, my clothes bag, and rollerblades. Dad took my blades and the bag while I got my cat Little out of the back of the car.
"Hey cutie!"I cooed at the white cat.
"The cousins are bringing their dog again this year, so let's hope they get along,"Grandma told me.
"Man I really do that that dog of theirs!"I exclaimed.
The three of us went inside the house. I took my bag from Dad and took my stuff downstairs to the guestroom. I noticed there were a couple of bunkbeds in the room this year.
"Hmm. Maybe they decided to get more beds for us,"I said to Little, shrugging my shoulders. I talked to my cat all the time, even though I knew she couldn't hear me. I then went back upstairs to the living room.
"The cousins should be here shortly. I'm sorry Riece couldn't come this year,"Grandma said.
"Yeah. She again got changed positions at Walmart. She is now in the music department!"I said.
The three of talked as Grandpa did some yardwork out in the backyard. I excused myself to go back downstairs and got my laptop out. I picked up Little and her leash, and carried her and my laptop up the stairs and out to the front porch. I sat on the bench, and put the leash on Little.
I knew Little LOVED being outside, and we just recently got a leash for her so she doesn't try to get into the street where she could be run over by a car. I worry about her, so I'm happy for the leash. I tied the other end of the leash to the railing, and let her play around.
I turned on my laptop and logged online. I went about checking my mail at five different accounts, like I always do first every single day. I even logged onto AIM so that I could chat with some of my buddies. My laptop has this tiny webcam, so I can videochat with some of my friends who had webcams too. At home we have a webcam on the main computer too. It's a really neat item!
