2. Another extremely Rare Vinyl Limited
to 100 released for the 2000 Expo wearing the Hachi gown Lot 30.
The following information was taken from the certificate of authenticity:
I hereby certify that the Diana, Princess of Radiance Limited Edition Portrait Doll is my original creation available only from The Franklin Mint. A Limited Edition of only 75 dolls will ever be created wearing this special ensemble. --Emily Kaufman
I hereby certify that the Diana, Princess of Radiance Limited Edition Portrait Doll is an original vinyl portrait doll by Emily Kaufman. She is wearing a re-creation of one of the Princess's favorite gowns which she wore on several occasions including a banquet at the Mansion House for a charity in London. It is also certified that gown is crafted of pink silk and comes complete with complementing purse, shoes, a pair of crystal drop earrings set with genuine rubies and faux pearls, and necklace set with genuine rubies.--Lynda Rae Resnick, Vice Chairman, The Franklin Mint.
Thanks to Melissa for permission to use her photos.

3. PRINCESS
OF HEARTS--This stunning doll is the 98 Christmas Doll or the Limited Edition
1998 vinyl doll. Franklin Mint has sold out--only available on secondary
market. Her dress is a simile to the Lacroix dress Diana wore. This one
is embedded with small rhinestones and sequins. (I added the gloves) Notice
the rectangular purse in place of the round purse Diana actually used.
4. PRINCESS OF GLAMOUR--
-The 99 Limited
Edition Xmas doll, is wearing Christina Stambolian's gorgeous creation.
Called the "Revenge" dress, or better yet 'EAT YOUR HEART OUT CHARLES"
because it heralded a change in Diana's clothes as the failed marriage
became public knowledge. It is still available at Franklin Mint at
$190. Jewelry has authentic sapphires. Despite some stories,
it was not purchased off the rack but designed expressly for the princess
by Chrstina Stamboli. The only Stamboli design Diana ever wore-- yet what
an impact it made with the public.
