NWWA Hall Of Fame
Niall Noonan - Well, since Hitler had a part to play in 20th Century history, Niall gets his spot here. Niall joined the NWWA when it first opened as Billy Gunn and ws managed by Tammy Lynn Sytch. He became the first NWWA World Champ with Billy and fueded with HBK and The Rock. He dropped the strap to The Rock at Bloodbath and Billy joined The Triad with Steve Austin and The Undertaker. The Triad soon split up and Sytch left Billy for Austin. Austin dominated the fued with Billy. Niall then handled Bret Hart. Bret was supposed to be a challenger for The Rock's World Title, but never made it. Bret and The Rock screwed Will Ebert out of the World Title at Rock Bottom and Bret walked away with the US Title as a reward for his services. Niall then retired from all E-Feds and left the NWWA only to come back a few days later as The Posse. Niall was made VP and he brought The Hardy Boyz, Stephanie McMahon and Lodi with him. Vince McMahon soon joined the group. Lodi presented an interesting Saturday Night Special, but none of the group ever captured any gold. Niall was frustrated by this and became stricken with jealousy at the NWWA. He staged his own death and began to insult half of the roster. Niall finally left the NWWA for good on the 14th of November and has started up a fed down south for guys that couldn't cut it in the NWWA.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin - Austin joined the NWWA the day that it opened and competed in it's first card in which he defeated Chris Benoit to become the first TV Champ. Lost the title to Scott Hall on the following RAW. He pursed the IC Title and defeated Benoit by DQ. Soaked Benoit and Triple H with beer one night on RAW. Defeated Triple H for the IC Title at Bloodbath 99. Formed The Triad with The Undertaker and the World Champ "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn. Started to fued with Chris Jericho over the IC Title. Dropped the strap to Y2J. Turned on Billy Gunn and stole Tammy Lynn Sytch from him. Joined Team Corporate which was led by The Rock. Fueded with Gunn and defeated him several times. Tammy became the first NWWA Women's Champ when Austin and Tammy beat Billy and Debra at Rock Bottom. Formed an alliance with Goldberg. Tammy dropped the Women's Title to Terri Runnels on the same HeAT that Austin and Goldberg became Tag Champs. Gave William Ebert a STUNNER one night on RAW. That same night, he helped Goldberg to defeat The Rock for The World Title. Austin and Tammy announced their engagement. Goldberg adopted a Badd Ass attitude and headbutted Tammy right before Austin and Goldberg defended the Tag Titles against The Outsiders. Scott Hall zapped Austin with a taser and pinned him to capture the tag belts. On the next RAW, Austin tried to knock Goldberg down in a beer truck. He ended up crashing into the ring and was put out of action for 7 weeks. The wedding that was set for Halloween Havoc was called off. Austin returned at Lethal Lottery and pinned Jeff Jarrett. Tammy was not by his side as she was pregnant. Reunited with Goldberg and joined TDA. Pursued The HaRdCoRe title, but was unsuccessful in his bids to win it. Austin retired from in ring wrestling on the 13th of December but is presently still employed by the NWWA. Where will he strike next ???
Charlie Norris - Charlie Norris joined the NWWA as The British Bulldog and racked up several victories over lowel level opponents. Started to get in the face of the then Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho. When Niall Noonan quit the NWWA with Bret Hart, Charlie picked him up along with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and the trio formed the Anti-American Hart Foundation. They quickly won the Stable Titles. Charlie became disgruntled with NWWA management just before The Bulldog was set to meet Jericho in an Intercontinental Title match at Halloween Havoc. Shortly returned as The Honky Tonk Man who brought Madusa along with him. Again, Charlie set his sights on the Intercontinental Title which was now held by Rey Mysterio Jr, but failed in his attempts to win it. Again stormed out of the NWWA and joined Niall Noonan's NAWF. Honky and Niall made a few brief appearances in the NWWA before the 2 had an argument and sure enough, Charlie left the dusty sands of the NAWF for the bright lights of the NWWA. This time as The Undertaker. Had the most hyped debut in NWWA history. Taker fought arch-rival Kevin Nash at Armageddon and lost by disqualification. Got a shot at Edge's US Title on Millennium Monday, but Ken Shamrock and his sister Ryan locked Taker in a casket and sent him out of the NWWA for good. It was later revealed that Shamrock was being handled by Charlie. Shamrock went undefeated and beat stars like Gangrel, Jimmy Lindsay, Tazz and D'Lo Brown. Ken and Ryan were an evil pair as a part of the Br00d. Shamrock competed in the Royal Rumble, but was eliminated mistakenly by Edge. Shammy stormed out of the NWWA leaving Charlie to handle Road Dogg. Roadie wrestled 1 match and beat Rey Mysterio Jr by default. On the 24th of January, Charlie Norris left the NWWA due to personal problems, but problems that may be resolved, so you may see Charlie in the NWWA again sometime.
