Queen's wartime souvenir for airman(BBC News)

The sole survivor of an aircraft crash in Poland during World War II has been presented with a piece of the plane's wreckage by the Queen.
Henry Lloyd-Lyne's six fellow crewmen were killed when their Liberator aircraft was shot down over Warsaw in 1944.
The flight from Italy was bringing supplies for the Polish Home Army fighting Germans during the Warsaw Uprising.
The plane crashed in Skaryszewski Park in the Polish capital.
During the Queen's state visit to Poland in 1996 she was presented with a metre-long piece of the aircraft wreckage when she laid a wreath at a memorial in the park.

She presented it to Mr Lloyd-Lyne, now 77, at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
"The Queen thought I would like it," said the retired farmer from Truro, Cornwall.
He said: "I'm actually thinking about cutting it into three pieces - one for my son, one for my daughter and one for a museum.
On demobilisation Mr Lloyd-Lyne decided on a career in farming and in 1952 became a Duchy of Cornwall tenant at St Clement, where his son now farms.
"She actually visited our farm, with the Duke of Edinburgh, in 1956, and the Prince of Wales has been several times," Mr Lloyd-Lyne added.

Princess Pushy pushes out Fergie(Evening Standard)

Princess Michael of Kent pulled rank on the Duchess of York in an extraordinary snub, it was disclosed today.
A source close to the Duchess claimed Princess Michael demanded precedence on a BA flight to the South of France when she found Fergie and daughters Beatrice and Eugenie in the front seats. The friend said Princess Michael ordered cabin staff to move them.
Faced with the tall and determined Princess, nee Baroness Marie-Christine von Reibnitz, they asked Fergie and the children to move. "She found it more amusing than annoying," said the source. "It didn't matter to her which row she sat in. And she really is past caring who takes precedence." Fergie lost her royal status with her divorce.
The incident took place some months ago but resurfaced with a marked frostiness between the Duchess and Prince Michael. Princess Michael, 55, was reportedly given the nickname "Princess Pushy" by the Queen.

Previously unseen film of Princess Diana released(Yahoo: Reuters)

LONDON (Reuters) - Visitors to the childhood home of the late Princess Diana will be able to see previously private film footage of her as a young girl, Sky television has reported.
Diana's brother Earl Spencer will also display pictures of the princess that have never been seen before when the Althorp estate opens to visitors for this year's summer season.
"I particularly like the footage of Diana dancing," Spencer said in the report on Wednesday.
"She was a great dancer and liked to play up to the camera. It's very moving to see this carefree girl enjoying herself before the sequence closes with a shot of her looking so very happy, young and innocent."
Spencer plans to open more rooms at Althorp to the public.
Diana, killed in a Paris car crash in 1997, is buried at the estate.
