Prince Philip is said to be furious after he was branded a 'Nazi' on national television. The Prince was insulted on the
'You Only Live Once' programme which was shown on BBC TV recently. The show has the regular host, Nick Hancock,
chatting to some or other 'celebrity' about their life and times. The particular programme in which the offence was
caused to the Duke of Edinburgh featured Mohamed Al Fayed. Mohamed Al Fayed called the prince a 'German Nazi'
and rather than the host attempting to defuse the situation as one may expect Nick Hancock compounded the
situation. He called the prince a 'Greek Nazi'. The Duke of Edinburgh is understandably angry. He has been known to
cause offence to whle nations in the past but more through error than design. The BBC, who produce the show, have
made the usual apology but the prince is still unhappy. It may be beneficial for both Mr Al Fayed and Mr Hancock to
remember that the former Royal Navy officer actually fought against Nazi Germany.
