King barred from Bulgarian poll (Electronic Telegraph)

BULGARIA'S former king, Simeon II, was barred from standing for the presidency by a court ruling yesterday.
The exiled king was ruled ineligible because he has not lived in Bulgaria for more than half of each of the past five years. Simeon Borisov Saxe-Coburgotski returned in 1996 and has visited seven times since. Matthew Brunwasser, Sofia

Prince is patron(UK Times)

The Prince of Wales has become patron of the Haven Trust, a London-based charity that offers support and a holistic approach to women with breast cancer. Last year he opened its Fulham headquarters. The trust is planning a second centre, in Herefordshire.
