THE Prince of Wales was recovering with his arm in a sling at Highgrove,
Gloucestershire, yesterday after injuring his shoulder during a hunting fall on
Saturday.
The Prince, who had been riding with the Meynell Hunt in Derbyshire, was
treated at the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he was
diagnosed as having fractured a small bone in his left shoulder. He did not
require surgery. A spokesman for the Prince, who has no public engagements
for the rest of the week, said last night that he remained in a comfortable
condition at his country house.
Princess Margaret was "getting better" after being ill since before Christmas,
the Queen told well-wishers outside church at Sandringham yesterday. Linus
