World-wide competition for Diana fountain design(Yahoo: Ananova)

A world-wide competition is to be held to design a memorial fountain for Diana, Princess of Wales.
Designers will submit ideas for the £3 million memorial to be built in London's Hyde Park.
It will be constructed on the site of a disused pump house on the banks of the Serpentine.
The design competition will be launched on September 12 and the final date for entries is October 22.
The decision to commemorate the late princess with a fountain was announced by Chancellor Gordon Brown, head of the Diana Memorial Committee, in January last year.
Rosa Monckton, a friend of Diana and head of the Fountain Committee, said: "This is a unique opportunity for artists and craftsmen to make history.
"Queens have, in the past, been publicly commemorated, but not British princesses, and so once again, Diana, who was no stereotype princess, is a first. "That is why it is so very important to make her national memorial very special, and that is why the competition for a design team is going world wide."
The competition, to be launched by the Royal Parks Agency, aims to find a "fresh and imaginative" design for the memorial, which is planned for summer 2003.
Royal Parks chief executive William Weston said: "We are seeking to create a superb work of art, reflecting the public's emotional response to Diana, in a unique location, within the internationally famous Hyde Park."
