Why I luv Yamato: When I first saw my very first episode of Digimon, I knew that Matt would end up being my favorite. I know that most people think that he's cold and only cares about himself, not to mention being a rebel, but I share a different opinion. WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? I don't really know. I'm an 18 year old girl who plays magic, pokemon D&D and is absolutely addicted to anime. I think you said it yourself when you said and 11 year old boy trapped in a teenage girl's body. I also find the characters in anime just beautiful, and far more interesting, sadly, than most people I know. The Japanese are definately masters of developing rich characters and stories, so I suppose that's what draws me to their characters. Digimon is a really neat show with a great plotline, art and, of course, great characters. To me, Matt is just the one with the most depth to him. (or it could be those great eyes, god I love how the Japanese draw eyes) I'm sure there's more I could write, but, as Shakepeare said, "Brevity is the soul of wit". Well, I guess I've already bombed that one.

WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? Oh, good heavens.. first of all, Digimon in general has an excellent character portrayel. For being 2D and all, they're incredibly lovable and have realistic depth, issues, problems, and heartbreaking realizations. Of all the characters to watch evolve, however, Yamato's was both the most touching and most important, I think. From overcoming the lasting emotional scars of his parents divorce, to realizing that he needed TK as much as TK needed him, to finally accepting friendship (and we can all thank Gabumon, for surely no other Digimon could have been so perfect a companion), I know I cheered during the episodes, and I sniffled, and I beamed in delight. That, and he's so damned cute.

WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? Oh, there are so many reasons why I like him that I just dunno where to begin... First of all, I'll start off by his physical features: He has the most beautiful, sky-blue/sapphire eyes that you can just gaze into all day...*sigh* They're the perfect color for him, and they're so beautiful just like him! They're warm, caring, and just perfect! His hair is so cool! It's rockin' (Wait a min. Do i even use that word often?) It's blonde, spiky w/ gel, and it goes perfect with his sapphire-blue eyes. His clothes... Well, I have to say that my personal favorite outfit that he wore is the outfit that he wore in Digimon season 02 in "Ghost of a Chance," "Run Yolei Run," and a few other eppies after that. The outfit that he was wearing consisted of a navy blue t-shirt (it goes perfect w/ his eyes), and some pants (forget what color they were), but that outfit was so cute, and looked so cute and hot on him! Second, I will describe his interests/talents: I loved the sound of his harmonica in season 01! It was so pretty! Now, I also think it's supa cool that he's in a band, and has his own guitar! *sigh* 'Just like him! I also think that it's super sweet of him to take care of his lil' bro: TK in 01, and proteect him! That was so sweet! However, I didn't really like Tk in season 01 (no offense) cuz he's a whiny, spoiled, selfish, crying, little brat! UGH! He's much better in season 02! WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? well in the first series i fell inlove with because of how he acts looks y'know I love how he's always rotecting T.k. I think it's adorable. And how he when Tai would jst oss everyone around recklessly Matt would be the one to stand up and say what's on his mind no questions. He's totaly cool and know's it. They went to find T.k. while Sora had got sukd in the ground. I loved how t.k.jumped in Matt's arms and asked. "Gee Matt you look different did you get a hair cut or somethin?" "Nah I just haven't using as much gel where's everyone else?" Then how him and Tai always say "Mon" instead of man. He's always sayin that and "dude" In 02 he's even hotter! He's got a band and everything and when they showed him singn I practicaly died! He's so hot! If they'd show in adifferent out fit or somthin at least like a beader or somethin. WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? OMG, don't even get me started. Lol. There's a whole damn essay on my site about how great Matt is, but I'll just give you a little bit of it: Matt has a strong soul, and that's a good thing, because he seems to have been put to the test more than anyone else in the group. But he's stayed strong and loyal despite everything life has thrown at him. He's made the occasional mistake, but he's always managed to put things right again and this is what makes me respect and admire his character so much (you've probably guessed by now that Matt is my favourite! ^^ I love him SO much!). He's developed a solid friendship with his Digimon and has some of the most distinctive relationships with other characters in the show. WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? Yamato is the coolest, kawaiiest charater on Digimon. He tries to be serious most of the time but does does a very bad job most of the time. His love for Takeru making him the most loving and caring Digidestined of all. (contrary to what most say >.<) When he get's older he goes from Kawaii to totally hansome! His rebel personality makes him even better, it fits him perfectly! Though I believe that people say that Yamato is mean are nuts. Even Gabumon said in the ep 'Sora's Crest of Love' that Yamato acts like a real grown-up. WHY DO YOU LIKE MATT? Do you REALLY want to know? ^_^ Oh well, I'll tell ya anyway. For starters, I absolutely LOVE his hair! It's wild looking, which fits him quite well. Next is his eyes, deep blue like the ocean, I could almost drown in them! His voice is wonderful, dubbing could never get better then this. But I still need to hear his Japanese voice! Will they bring out the subbed version of Digimon on tape? I must know! His attitude is the best, he appears tough on the outside, but he's also sweet and sensitive, and he'll show it to those he cares about(like his little brother) and he's also funny. He's a musician and Gabumon's the best Digimon out there. And during the Digimon world tour...with the episode where Matt and Ken went to Mexico I almost died when I saw him in that shirt! My brother thought I was crazy! Well, everyone thinks I'm crazy but that's a whole nother story ^^;;; I guess there is just to much to name that I love! He's extremely sensitive...I like that in a guy ^^ and he cares very much for his little bro TK who is also pretty cute ^^ A lot of people don't like that he cut his hair in 02...I love his hair in 02!!! 278 members?!?? Wow! This club has gotten a HUGE response...it's great! I've gotten at least 3 emails a day with people who want to join...which means I'm updating more and more...and I'm also taking less care.
