Potential Players of Sirius Black

The word is out that Gary Oldman is to be Sirius Black in the next movie and no complaints here! Before that was known though, people were all the time sending me pictures and names of actors hey thought could do the job. Sooo, until I have the time to sort this all out, here is a list of names and faces of all those sent to me.
Scott Cohan. So he's not British! I've been crazy about him since Wolf in The 10th Kingdom. He can go from psychotic to sweet and back again. The shift from frightening to endearing is one of Mr. Black's traits as well. And see the prison pics! That could be Azkaban, instead of the Snow White Memorial Prison! (they were also shamelessly stolen from The Wolf Den. )
John Lynch. I saw him in Moll Flanders, The Secret Garden, and The Secret of Roan Inish! He's got the tortured eyes down!
Daniel Day-Lewis. I don't think I've ever seen him in anything with a happy ending! He was suggested and I have to admit he could look the part.
Ralph Fiennes. He has been described by many as being hot. Personally, I thought he looked especially good in Strange Days. I've never seen him portray the kind of edge I think Sirius would have. He was suggested by the same person who sent me this pick. Thanks!
Jason Carter. I couldn't place this guy's name when he was suggested, so I looked him up. It turns out I don't know him because I don't watch Babylon 5! (I don'thave that channel!) The pic was originally April's.
Jeff Hordley. The rumor mill favorite. I had never heard of him before then. According to the HP gossip, he may have already been contacted about the part. Knowing nothing about him, I can't really comment except to say that he reminds me too much of a guy I used to know for me to easily picture him as Sirius Black. (That guy's name was Ben. He rode the same school bus I did back in school. Hi Ben!)
Ewan McGregor. I wasn't sure about this one, but so many people have suggested him that I decided the masses were speaking!
Viggo Mortenson. Most recently seen in Lord of the Rings, which I have been frantic over. Loved it!
