Agumon Evolutions

Botamon: This form of Agumon has one VERY LARGE PLUS!!! It can’t talk!! It’s a little black fuzzball with beady yellow eyes, but somehow manages to be cute. Since it’s the main character’s digimon, Botamon seems to represent the entire species of Baby Digimon. The Digimon World is in trouble. It blows bubbles, like in the movie, and it seems to be the only digimon that can carry a tune.

Koromon: YAY!!! The best form of Agumon! It’s CUTE!!! It has GOOD VOICE! And sadly, it talks… but that’s okay, Koromon is definitely one of the better In-Training Digimon, it can use its ears as limbs and bounces around cutely. Personally, I think it’s high. But in comparison to all the others, Koromon is rather cool. It blows bubbles, too. I’m not really sure why all the Baby and In-Training Digimon are bubble-blowers, but that’s all they do…. It’s more funny than effective.

Agumon: The Toilet Poet. This is some people’s worst nightmare. To others, he’s simply a bad dream.  And to all of the little kids that watch digimon, Agumon is the coolest thing since Pikachu. Someone please kill this digimon. I know he’s good for Tai and all that, but he REALLY gets on my nerves!! He talks! And Talks! And he has a REALLY BAD VOICE!!! In the Jap version, it’s even worse… he sings worse, if that’s possible… I don’t know if you can really call it singing! He croaks! Or at least we WISH he would… But anyway… Agumon must die… his attack is basic… however, the name is kind of creative… Pepper Breath… it’s probably the ONLY creative thing about Agumon… and he’s lavatory obsessed… as the great Tokosite proclaims…. (Ever notice that Charmander and Agumon look a lot alike?)

Greymon: Greymon is a Champion… and like nearly ALL of the Champions… he’s pretty much only there to be a big Agumon or the in-between stage of Ultimate and Rookie. So… as far as Champions go… Greymon isn’t really THAT bad… but he is in no way cool… funny… or even mildly useful… The helmet is wrong… and he looks like he could stand to go on a diet… And his attack, Nova Blast, is VERY basic… Greymon kinda sets the standard for the other Champions…

MetalGreymon: The only real difference between Greymon and MetalGreymon is the metal and the wings… (which are metal) (how true) (how does he get off the ground with metal wings?) (Let’s not think about that) MetalGreymon is an Ultimate… but in the ultimate category… he sucks. The other Ultimates as a rule are REALLY COOL…. (most of them) But MetalGreymon is REALLY BLAND…. It’s wings and digivolution scene are the coolest features about it… (which isn’t saying much) even it’s attack, Giga Blaster, is really boring… he shoots two missiles with faces out of a metal plate on his chest… scary! Also, MetalGreymon could stand to lose some weight… (Why does Tai have such fat digimon?) (Maybe causes he’s always eating)

WarGreymon: Well… although WarGreymon is the coolest of Agumon’s forms… that really doesn’t say much… WarGreymon is one of the few megas that ever show up in the series. Thus you never get rid of him!! His sheer amount of screen time is what REALLY gets on your nerves about his digimon. At least he doesn’t talk that much. In 02, it gets worse, because WarGreymon gets himself a clone… who decides to take over about 4 episodes with his angst.. and its not even interesting angst… Overall, BlackWarGreymon is more annoying that plain ol WarGreymon… Their attacks, TerraForce and TerraDestroyer, are the same thing… both of which consist of a really large ball of energy which he throws… Can you say DBZ? Well.. one thing about WarGreymon that IS cool, is that he has hair… and green eyes… and that spiffy plate on his back with the crest of Courage on it… it’s really cool… Overall, WarGreymon’s armor is cooler than WarGreymon…

Omnimon: Not really sure what you would call this level of digimon… But since it’s a combination of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon… we’ll just call it his DNA level…. Omnimon is quite spiffy… (it must come from the Metal Garurumon part of him) although he’s really quite a cliché… since he’s the most powerful possible form of every digimon ever to exist… The fact that he only shows up in the movie makes it bearable… and the graphics that go with the animation for him really outdoes itself… It’s attacks, Transected Sword and Supreme Cannon, are really well animated, and though a bit cliché, really cool. Overall, Omnimon is one of the better digimon that have anything to do with Agumon…
