~KOUSHIROU IZUMI~
"No, I ... I don't have a preoccupation with who I am... I just... I..." AKA: The Cute Internet Porn Addict! Name: (Japanese:) Izumi Koushirou (Meaning: "Bright Child of the Spring") (English:) Koushirou "Izzy" Izumi (I think he probably got this nickname from an online buddy of his...) (Of course! Where else can you find names like "IzumiKid04"? Which quickly becomes "Iz" and then later "Izzy!" Heeheehee!) (This information was trademarked from a fanfic, but made so much sense we put it here!)Age: 10 in Season One, 13 in Season Two (14 in American) Eyes: Ebony (very spiff!)Hair: Auburn (And porcupine spiky! But it's SOOO cool!) ('cool' can only go so far in descriptions..That hair surpasses it !!!!)Height/Weight: Short and Slim (what more can be said?) ( didn't you know? HE'S HOTT!!)Family: Mrs. Izumi (We all know she's not his REAL mom, but she's the nicest mom I think I've EVER seen...), Mr. Izumi (Another adoptive parent... he seems really nice, too, holds a good job for the place they live...), Koushirou's Father (He and his wife died SUPPOSEDLY in a car crash, we all know that they and Matt's father were part of the FIRST Digidestined! ^_~ Hehe! It's a twisted alien plot!)Crest: Knowledge (It's more along the lines of "Pursuit of Knowledge" in the Jap version!)Digimon: Tentomon ('Da bomb bug who gets stuck with all the corny lines!)Digivolutions: Pabumon, Motimon, Tentomon (Da bug), Kabuterimon(Da big bug!), MegaKabuterimon(Da incredibly huge bug, with a long name, DAMMIT!!)Who Izzy is usually paired with: Mimi (yay!!! AND ONLY MIMI, DAMMIT!) and occasionally Taichi, Jyou, Sora, Yamato, Kari, Miyako and his laptop.Future Occupation: Computer Technician (most likely, others may include:) Hacker, Corporate Executive, College Professor, Porn Star, Artist, Pro-Soccer Player, Gundam Pilot (right alongside Duo!)
Character Profile: Favored of the many gods and goddesses, he has come to know many names, most of which all boil down to one word. Cool. Kou-chan is our resident computer nerd. He sit under a tree, off to the side as the rest of the chosen children carry on, absorbed in his notebook (laptop). What makes this person so adored by his many loving fans? Though he doesn't really speak with the other kids(quite as much as we'd like), Kou-chan becomes something of an advisor to Taichi. Giving advice on situations, looking up information, and coming up with ground-shaking theories, Kou-chan is a great asset to the Chosen Children. "He forces himself away from others, though, what kind of kid is this?" Well, a lonely one. Koushirou is so busy trying to find his own identity, he has built walls to keep others from disturbing the 'self' he has creating by pushing others away. He is smart, but he acts harshly towards others. He ignores people, sometimes even if they are trying to demand his attention. He makes himself look down upon others, which shows in his slightly arrogant and intellectual attitude. It is his arrogance in itself, though which makes him 'cool'. By not letting others take advantage of him and push him around by asserting his intellectual superiority over them, Koushirou develops a strong will and brave attitude. But this still doesn't improve his people skills, and although there aren't many people in the Digiworld, Kou-chan is forced into a position where he MUST interact with them or die. This stated, Koushirou is forced to deal with the other kids. At first, he totally ignores them, but by the time they reach the real world to stop Myotismon, Kou-chan has become a bit more open with his feelings and opinions, and less arrogant at that. He learns to trust the others and that he won't lose himself if he befriends them. After confronting his parents with the reality of his adoption, though, Koushirou becomes almost a new person. With a firm grasp of 'self', Koushirou accepts his new parents, and accepts his friends for who THEY are as they accept him for HIS self. (He's so cool!) (Yeah, I know! ^_^) "He's trying to find himself, eh?" Well yes. "But, why?" Well, out side the fact that he's adopted? Kou-chan feels obligated to be perfect. Everyone expects it of him. To be the perfect gentleman, perfect manners, perfect grades, and so on. He could do no wrong! That's a lot of pressure. His parents are great they would support anything he wanted to do.(if he wanted to start interstellar war they would give him guns) He feels he has to be the perfect son for them. Especially considering he KNOWS they are not his parents and owe him nothing, he feels he should respect what they have given him more than a normal child would. Due to his need to be overly exceptional, Kou-chan has developed a fear of failure. To be perfect is to be excepted. Another thing that draws Kou-chan fans, is that even though Koushirou is incredibly intelligent, he's NOT a nerd, and he still acts human. Koushirou is a brave person, he wants to help everyone, but his uncertainty makes it hard for him to be sincere. He's also a soccer player, like Tai and Sora, which causes many people to compare him to their more enthusiastic personalities, and they notice how calm he often is. Always ready with the information the kids need, Kou-chan may be younger than most of the others, but that doesn't mean he's gonna get left behind on anything, fighting or otherwise! ^_~ One other thing. Remember the "crest of knowledge"? Well, Kou-chan has a rampant curiosity. He has to know EVERYTHING! About EVERYTHING for EVERYTHING because of EVERYTHING so he can tell you EVERYTHING! His most asked question is "why?" and normally he gets answers. If not, then he spends the rest of the Episode trying to figure it out. This is important for without Kou-chan's theories the Chosen Children would have died ages ago. (See a trend here?) He intelligence shows through so often as he uses tests of knowledge to tests himself. "I used up the whole battery on my laptop staying up all night playing Trigonometry Trivia! Boy, was it fun..!"
