Two Hours Later
Rose woke up. She called for Jack.
"Jack? Jack?"
Jack heard Rose and told Megan and Jeff
good-bye.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Where were you?" she asked him.
"I was talking to Megan and Jeff. Cal
just stopped by their apartment looking for you. They gave him the
diamond." Rose sat back and started crying. Jack held her in his arms to
comfort her. She felt more peaceful then. "I'm so sorry for doing this to
you," he told her.
"It's all right, Jack," she told
him.
Suddenly, they saw Ruth DeWitt Bukater
looking straight at them.
