ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON EARTH
Chapter Nine
Two Days Later
Rose got into the carriage with Nicole asleep
in her arms.
"Thirty-two Rea Lane," she told the
driver. She was going home.
Jack was outside when they got there, so
Nicole toddled to her father. Jack saw Rose and put her down, telling her to go
inside. Rose looked at Jack and started crying hysterically. He took her
inside, ready to start again without fights and arguments.
Two Months Later
"Jack! Jack, help! It’s time!"
Jack heard the screaming and ran up to the
room. He called the doctor and waited.
It would be another few hours.
Seventeen Hours Later
Jack walked in at the sound of another
beautiful baby. He looked down to see a little girl.
"Jack, look! A girl." Jack looked
down at the beautiful baby girl in Rose's arms. "What are we going to call
her?" Rose asked.
"Taylor Leah Dawson," he answered.
John and Nicole toddled in. They saw their
new baby sister. "Baba!" they said together.
"Yes. Your sister!" Jack told them.
"Pity!" Nicole exclaimed.
Together, Jack and Rose put the baby
carefully in Nicole's arms.
