HARRY POTTER AND THE SHIP OF DREAMS
Chapter One
"Did you enjoy dinner,
Fleur?" Harry asked, unlocking the door.
"It was great, Harry. Thank
you!" she said tiredly.
"Good, but before we go to
bed, I have a surprise for you," he said, a gleam in his eyes.
"Oh, Harry. You spoil me too
much!" Fleur said guiltily.
"Well…" he said,
pulling out two medium-sized sheets of paper. "I bought us two first class
tickets on a luxury ship called the Titanic."
"What? Harry, I know how
much one of those tickets costs! Besides, I read it’s going to dock in America
for a week. What do you plan on doing for a week?" Fleur asked.
"Well, since I planned the
honeymoon, you can decide what we do for a week."
"Thank you, Harry! Thank
you! Thank you!" she said, tears in her eyes.
"Fleur, you are the girl of
my dreams! You were with me at my side every step of the war. The least I can
do is pamper you a bit," Harry said, giving her a hug.
"When do we leave?" she
asked.
"Two days from
tomorrow," he said.
"Then we have to go shopping
tomorrow!" Fleur said in a panicked tone.
"I knew that was what you
were going to say," Harry said.
"We’ll go to the tailor
tomorrow and get you some new suits, all right?" Fleur asked.
"All right, and I think you
could do with some new dresses, right?" Harry teased.
Fleur giggled. "Oh, I should
tell you. The Titanic is impervious to any magic, so we have to leave our wands
in our trunks."
"What? So, we can’t use
magic at all?" Harry complained.
"Yes, and they say that you
don’t even need magic, because the ship is so luxurious," Fleur said,
trying to calm Harry down.
"I don’t know. The idea of
leaving my wand in my trunk makes me very nervous," Harry said.
"I know. Me, too, but
everything will be fine. Good night, Harry," Fleur said, kissing him on
the lips.
"Good night, Fleur."
