HARRY POTTER AND THE SHIP OF DREAMS
Chapter Two
The next morning, Harry and Fleur
went shopping at a place that a good friend of Fleur’s owned.
"Monsieur Potter, what type
of material would you like your suits made of?" the tailor asked.
Fleur was getting her dresses
fitted, so Harry couldn’t ask for advice. He could only think of a few
materials.
"Uh…how about silk?"
Harry asked off the top of his head.
"Ah…a good choice, Monsieur
Potter. I’ll have your suits and promenade clothes ready within the hour,"
she said.
"Uh…is Fleur about
done?" Harry asked.
"Not even close. She has
chosen about a dozen dresses so far." the seamstress said, laughing.
This made Harry angry.
"Well, tell her she can have seven at the most and that’s it."
"All right, Monsieur, but
you won’t like what she has to say."
"Well, that’s fine, because
I’m having lunch at the café across the street," Harry shot back.
Harry paid for their clothes and
walked across the street to the café.
Harry ordered a small steak and a
brandy, sitting at a table close to the window.
Harry saw Fleur exit the shop,
enter the café, and order a small lamb chop and a glass of red wine.
After she ordered her food, she
saw Harry eating at the table nearest the window. "Harry, I was wondering
where you were!"
"Oh, sorry," he said.
He got up and did the gentlemanly thing by helping her into her chair.
"So, where do we have to be
when we board?" Fleur asked, taking a sip of wine.
"We have to be at
Southampton, England, by no later than 11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 10,
1912," Harry said.
"So, we’ll pack tomorrow.
Then, at eleven, we’ll levitate to England and board a little early. All
right?" Fleur asked.
"Well, it seems you have our
whole agenda planned, Fleur," Harry teased, drinking the last of his
brandy.
"Oh, stop it!" Fleur
giggled.
"Well, it looks like we’re
both finished. Let’s check on our clothes," Harry said.
"All right," Fleur
agreed.
